What is a three-phase adapter cable?
A three-phase adapter cable is a short piece of neoprene-rubber cable with a 5G2.5 cross-section, at the end of which there is a CEE 5x16 A / 400 V plug and a 250 V triple earthing contact pendant coupling.
What do I need to look out for in a three-phase adapter cable?
As a three-phase adapter cable is usually used outdoors, it should have splash-proof plugs and couplings. Our three-phase adapter cable has an IP44 protection rating and is equipped with splash-proof covers on the pendant coupling. The three-phase adapter cable should also be made of neoprene rubber cable (H07RN-F). This is weatherproof and does not become porous even when used constantly outdoors.
