Cable holder and cable guide
The removable cable holder and guide adds two more functions to the Generation 7 Champion. An integrated kink protector during winding and a crumple zone prevent injury to the cable if the cable drum falls.
Rotation stop switch and wall mounting
The HEDI rotation stop switch for locking the drum body has proven itself a thousand times over, which is why it must not be missing from our high-quality cable drum Generation 7 Champion. The holes on the back allow for easy wall mounting.
Cable reel with slip ring
The slip ring allows you to leave devices connected to the cable drum while you unwind the drum. Thanks to a special design, the socket insert does not rotate when moving.
Tread surfaces
Cable reel foot made of glass fiber reinforced plastic for maximum stability and additional stabilization of the drum when winding and unwinding the cable over three tread surfaces
Water drainage
Due to the incline and the drainage grooves, the highest level of safety is guaranteed, as water and moisture can drain away at any time, even when lying down
Large, foldable twist grip

Large twist grip with a unique and easy to grip 2-component soft touch and folding function. Allows individual right and left hand operation when winding and unwinding the cable reel. (Only available with the variants of the Generation 7 Champion.)
Patented 7 degrees inclination
The shift of the centre of gravity by 7 degrees ensures improved water drainage and significantly increased stability of the reel. In addition, the view of the socket insert is improved by the slight upward tilt, and the inclination of the reel increases the distance between the reel body and the reel foot. This gives you enough freedom to wind the reel optimally.
Centre of gravity
Due to the precisely calculated centre of gravity, the high-quality cable drum does not swing against the leg when carried. The back of the drum aligns itself parallel to the body.
Splashwater-protected and dust-proof
Particularly favourable for use on construction and assembly sites. Thanks to the plug sealing lips and splash-proof cover, this high-quality cable drum can be used permanently outdoors without any problems. For three-phase versions, the cable drum offers IP44.

Slip ring cable reel
The high-quality cable reel HEDI Generation 7 Champion is available with slip ring. The slip ring allows you to leave your appliances connected to the cable reel while you continue to unroll the drum. The socket insert is fixed and does not rotate with the drum body.

The slip ring (SR) allows you to leave devices connected to the cable reel while you unwind the reel. Thanks to a special design, the socket insert does not rotate. This option is especially practical and useful for an appliance cable reel. For all other cable reels, we recommend the slip ring if you want to use implements flexibly or if you move around a lot with your implements. The slip ring is particularly practical when used on scaffolding or assembly trolleys and provides mobility despite plugged-in equipment. Yes, you can have the cable of your high-quality HEDI Generation 7 Champion all-plastic cable reel printed. Cable printing is offerd for HEDI armorued cable PLUS series and the HEDI armoured cable series. The red neoprene rubber cable can also be printed. The cable imprint is made with black, extremely abrasion-resistant ink and is repeated at a distance of 30 cm over the entire cable length.
