§ 6 Applications to job advertisements by e-mail

We advertise vacancies on our website, for which interested parties can apply by e-mail to the contact address provided.

Inclusion in the application process requires that applicants provide us with all the personal data required for a sound and informed assessment and selection together with the application by e-mail.

The information required includes general information about the person (name, address, telephone or electronic contact details) as well as performance-specific evidence of the qualifications required for a position.

The components that an application must contain in order to be considered and the form in which these components must be sent by e-mail can be found in the respective job advertisement.

Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 (1) DS-GVO (e.g. health data such as information on severely disabled status) are requested from applicants as part of the application process, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 9 (2) lit. b. This period is measured on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering any follow-up questions about the application and, if necessary, to be able to comply with our obligations to provide evidence under the regulations on equal treatment of applicants.

In the event of a successful application, the data provided will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DS-GVO in conjunction with. § Section 26 (1) BDSG for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.

§ 7 Use of Google Analytics

(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, which means that it is not possible to relate the data to a specific person. If the data collected about you is related to a person, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.

(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the data transfer from the EU to the USA, Google refers to the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection in the USA.

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website and would therefore not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

(3) The use of Google Ads may also result in the transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

(4) Sie können Ihre erteilte Einwilligung jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen. § 9 Google AdSense

(1) This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

(2) Google AdSense uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site; the legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

(3) Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). Through these web beacons, information such as visitor traffic on these pages can be analysed. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and delivery of advertising formats will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States; the legal basis for this is the EU standard data protection clauses. The information may be passed on by Google to Google's contractual partners.

(4) Google uses the information thus obtained to carry out an evaluation of your usage behaviour with regard to the AdSense ads. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense will not be merged with other Google data. The information collected by Google may be transferred to third parties if this is required by law and/or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

You can find more information about Google's privacy policy at the following internet address: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

§ 10 Google Remarketing (DoubleCklick.Net)

(1) This website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one end device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC). The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

(2) If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalised advertising messages can be displayed on every device on which you log in with your Google account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target groups for cross-device ad advertising.

(3) Additional data processing will only take place if you have consented to Google linking your internet and app browsing history to your Google Account and using information from your Google Account to personalise ads that you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups. The use of Google Ads Remarketing may also involve the transmission of personal data to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

(4) You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Remarketing by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:

https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/

Further information and the data protection provisions regarding advertising and Google can be viewed here: https://www.google.com/policies

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website or alternatively follow the option described above to make an objection.

§ 11 Google Tag Manager

(1) We use the Google Tag Manager on our website to organise the use of tags on the website centrally via an interface. Other analysis tools can be managed and aligned via the Google Tag Manager. In doing so, the Google Tag Manager itself does not store any personal data, but passes this on to the respective analysis tools.

The legal basis for the use of the Google Tag Manager is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

(2) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the Google Tag Manager can be found in the provider's privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. § 12 Einsatz von Google Fonts

(1) External fonts are used on our website: Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Fonts are only integrated after you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. After your consent, the integration of Google Fonts is carried out by a server call; as a rule, it is a Google server in the USA. After you have given your consent, this transmits to the server that you have visited our website. The IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to these Internet pages is also stored by Google. The use of Google Fonts serves the uniform and appealing presentation of our online offer. The transfer of your personal data takes place after you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

(2) You can find more detailed information in Google's privacy policy, which you can access here:

§ § 6 Use of Matomo

(1) This website uses the web analysis service Matomo to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.

For this evaluation, cookies (see § 3 for more details) are stored on your computer. The information collected in this way is stored by the responsible party exclusively on its server in Germany. You can set the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent the storage of cookies, we would like to point out that you may not be able to use this website to its full extent. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through the setting in your browser

(2) The legal basis for the processing of the users' personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

(3) The processing of personal data enables us to analyse the surfing behaviour of our users. This helps us to continuously improve our website and its user-friendliness. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in processing the data according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. By anonymising the IP address, the interest in the protection of personal data is sufficiently taken into account.

(4) This website uses Matomo with the extension "AnonymizeIP". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, which means that they cannot be directly linked to a person. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.

(5) You can prevent the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

(6) For more information on the privacy settings of the Matomo software, please see the following link: https://matomo.org/docs/privacy/.

§ 14 Use of OpenStreetMap

§ 15 Use of social media plug-ins: Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) and Instagram

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-in: Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Instagram. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to Facebook / Instagram. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by marking the box with its initial letter or logo. We open up the possibility for you to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked box and thereby activate it and give your consent, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have called up the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration is transmitted.

In the case of Facebook and Instagram, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects the data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box.

(2) We have no influence on the collected data and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.

(3) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) for the display of needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Facebook and/or Instagram to exercise this right. Via the plug-in, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. The transfer of your personal data takes place after you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.

If you are logged in to the plug-in provider, your data collected from us will be directly assigned to your account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link to the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this will help you avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

(5) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by Facebook and Instagram can be found in the data protection declarations provided below. There you will also receive further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy.

In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertisements that are of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you.

(2) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Facebook through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Facebook Custom Audiences, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding web page of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. (2) By visiting our website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website.

The data transfer takes place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out of YouTube before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website to meet your needs. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

The data processing, in particular the data transfer to YouTube, is carried out for the purpose of simplifying the use of our media content and increasing the attractiveness of our website. By integrating YouTube videos, we give you the opportunity to interact with the social network YouTube so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user.
