HEDI Generation 7 Companion
The trend-setting HEDI Generation 7 all-plastic cable reels impress with maximum safety, ergonomics and adistinctive design. The Companion has more compact dimensions and is lighter than the Champion variants. In all other respects, the Companion is in no way inferior to its larger model. The Generation 7 Companion is available in different alternating current and three-phase AC versions with many different lines.

Features of the Made in Germany cable drum HEDI Generation 7 Companion
Compact HEDI all-plastic cable reel "Made in Germany" with a reel diameter of 250 mm, IP44 and many ergonomics and safety features.
Patented 7 degrees inclination
Due to the 7° inclination the drum has more ground clearance and an improved view on the socket. The shift of the centre of gravity guarantees comfortable carrying as annoying bumping against the legs is avoided.
Stable reel base
Reel base Made of glass fiber reinforced plastic for maximum stability and additional stabilization of the drum when winding and unwinding the cable over three tread surfaces
Cable holder and guide
The Cable holder and guide Could be easily disassembled if it is not needed. Additionally acts as crush zone if the reel falls over.
Ergonomic soft-touch carrying handle
Newly developed ergonomic Carrying handle with a unique 2-components Soft-Touch for a maximum of carrying comfort!
Rotation stop switch
Proven HEDI Rotation stop switch for locking the reel body
Wall mounting
Holes on the back side of the reel enable easy wall mounting. Recommended for wall storing or use in hanging positions. Wall mounting
Large tread surface
The practical tread surface on the back and on both sides of the drum give additionally stability.
Sockets
3-way safety socket As a standard feature the Generation 7 cable reels are equipped with splash-water-protected safety-sockets.
HEDI diagnosis system DiagS
The proven HEDI diagnosis system DiagS See the readiness of the cable reel with the proven diagnostic system „HEDI-DiagS“ at a glance. Together with the integrated thermal protection switch, you are always on the safe side.
Rotary handle
The rotary handle enables individual right- or left-hand operation when winding or unwinding the cable.

Alternating current version
The HEDI Generation 7 is available with a splash-water protected 3-way safety socket in the alternating current version. You can choose from various cable types and - lengths. For example the armoured cable (AT-N07V3V3-F) or armoured cable PLUS (H07BQ-F) for permanent outdoor use under extremely rough conditions. Perfect for construction sites. Three-phase current version
Different three-phase AC versions enable the use of particularly large machines and devices. Figure Item no.: K7AD2016T2
Equipment cable reel version:
A equipment cable-reel reverses the system of a conventional cable-reel. It allows the cable reel to remain at the power input while you continue to move around with the tool.

Camping cable reel
A cable reel with a CEE 3x16A connection (blue plug & sockets) is required to supply power to motorhomes on campsites. You can obtain various cable lengths from us. The classic 30 m neoprene-rubber cable is shown here.

Empty reel
You can equip an empty reel (without cable) according to your individual requirements. For example, 40 m of neoprene-rubber cable 3G1.5 fits on the reel body.

What is a Made in Germany cable drum?
Our Generation 7 cable reels bear the Made in Germany seal. Most of the components of the cable reels are manufactured in our production facilities in Babenhausen. We have our own injection moulding facilities for manufacturing the components. The components are then assembled into the finished cable reels in our robot-assisted production.
In which versions can I get the plastic cable reel Generation 7 Companion?
Our Generation 7 Companion is available as an AC and a three-phase cable drum. Here we offer you selected variants. The HEDI Generation 7 Companion is not available as an appliance cable drum. If you are looking for a larger selection, we recommend our HEDI Generation 7 Champion.
