Which advantages come with a equipment cable reel?
More space
Equipment reels offer a real advantage, especially when space is very tight. The reel remains on the ground and only the connection cable is taken along. Ideal e.g. for facade scaffolding. Multiple devices can also be conveniently connected using multiple couplings.
For more mobility
The equipment reels are also the ideal companion for gardening work. Connect e.g. the hedge trimmer and walk comfortably up and down the hedge without having to move the cable reel.
Schutz vor Überhitzung
When working in direct sunlight or heat such as roof work, cable reels can quickly activate the thermal protection under full load. This can be easily avoided with equipment reels, as the reel can be placed in a cool room or in the shade and only the cable is taken into the warm areas.

Is the Professional plastic cable reel approved for use on construction and assembly sites?
With neoprene rubber cable (H07RN-F) or with HEDI armoured cable PLUS (H07BQ-F), the plastic cable drum Professional conforms to DGUV-I 203-006 and is approved for use on construction and assembly sites.
What is the difference between the plastic cable reel Professional and the Primus?
The Primus made of sheet steel has an open stand, while the Professional has a closed stand. The Professional also has a larger drum diameter. The diameter of the Primus is 255 mm, the Professional 290 mm. The Professional can therefore carry more cables and larger cross-sections. In addition, the Primus sheet steel cable drum is not available in three-phase versions.
In which versions can I get the plastic cable reel Professional?
The Professional plastic cable drum is available in many versions. In our range, you will find the Professional in both AC and three-phase versions. You can also choose between a sheet steel or plastic drum body. The Professional plastic cable reel is also available as an appliance cable reel and compressed air hose reel.
Is cable printing possible with the plastic cabe reel Professional?
Yes, the cable of the plastic cable drum Professional can be printed. We offer cable printing for all HEDI armoured cable PLUS (H07BQ-F), HEDI armoured cable (AT-N07V3V3-F) and for the red neoprene rubber cable (H07RN-F). The imprint is made with black printing ink and is repeated over the entire cable length at intervals of 30 cm.
