4-fold safety socket-insert
As standard, the "Champion" has splash-water-protected socket inserts with four safety sockets. Large, foldable twist grip
with a unique and easy to grip 2-component soft touch and folding function. Allows individual right and left hand operation when winding and unwinding the cable.
Cable holder and guide
The Cable holder and -führung Could be easily disassembled if it is not needed. Additionally acts as crush zone if the reel falls over.
7°-Neigung
Due to the 7° inclination The shift of the centre of gravity by 7 degrees ensures improved water drainage and significantly increased stability of the reel. In addition, the view of the socket insert is improved by the slight upward tilt, and the inclination of the reel increases the distance between the reel body and the reel foot. What is an all-plastic cable reel?
An all-plastic cable reel is a reel that is made entirely of plastic.
What are the advantages of a all-plastic cable reel?
Especially where electricity flows the non-conductive material plastic is the only right choice. With a high-quality all-plastic cable drum, the risk of electric shocks and injuries is enormously minimised.
Sheet steel cable reels are still considered durable and long-lasting. The plastic we use in the production of our Generation 7 all-plastic cable reels is extremely break-resistant and in most cases much longer in use than any sheet steel reel.
The cable drum foot is made of a material reinforced with glass fibre, which is guaranteed not to bend.
What is a cable reel with slip ring used for?
The slip ring (SR) allows you to leave devices connected to the cable drum while you unwind the drum. Thanks to a special design, the socket insert does not rotate when moving.
This option is especially practical and useful with an equipment cable drum. For all other cable reels, we recommend the slip ring if you want to use implements on moving surfaces or if you move around a lot while working. For example, when using on a ladder, an assembly trolley or on scaffolding.
