Diese Kabeltrommel besitzt den gleichen Trommeldurchmesser wie der Generation 7 "Companion", ist aber mit weniger Ergonomie- und Sicherheitsfeatures ausgestattet. HEDI Rotation stop switch
The HEDI rotation stop switch for locking the drum body has proven itself a thousand times over, which is why it must not be missing from our high-quality cable drum Generation 7 Champion. The holes on the back allow for easy wall mounting.
Water drainage
Thanks to the inclination of the reel and the permanently integrated drainage grooves, water can drain off at any time when the unit is lying down. Water on the reel surface and dangerous penetration of waterlogging into the socket inserts is thus avoided.

What is a cable reel with slip ring used for?
The slip ring allows you to leave devices connected to the cable drum while you unwind the drum. Thanks to a special design, the socket insert does not rotate when moving.
This option is especially practical and useful with an equipment cable drum. For all other cable reels, we recommend the slip ring if you want to use implements on moving surfaces or if you move around a lot while working. For example, when using on a ladder, an assembly trolley or on scaffolding.

What are the advantages of an all-plastic cable reel?
Especially where electricity flows, plastic is the only right choice as a non-conductive material. By developing a high-quality cable reel, we thus minimise the risk of electric shocks and injuries to an absolute minimum. Sheet steel cable reels are still considered to be resistant anddurable. The plastic we use in the production of our K7 reel is extremely break-resistant and, in most cases, has a much longer service life than any sheet steel reel. The cable reel foot is made of a material reinforced with glass fi bre, which, unlike the steel tube, is guaranteed not to bend.

Wieviele Meter bei einer Kabeltrommel?
Wieviele Meter eine Kabeltrommel haben sollte, kommt ganz auf den Einstzzweck der Kabeltrommel an. In Innenräumen ist meist schon eine geringe Meterzahl ausreichend. Hier empfehlen wir eine Kabeltrommel mit 25 m. Im Außenbereich oder bei einer Kabeltrommel für die Baustelle, sollten Sie eine höhere Meterzahl wählen. Bei Kabeltrommeln für außen empfehlen wir deshalb eine Kabeltrommel mit 40 m oder eine Kabeltrommel mit 50 m.
